Riverside Energy Partners, LLC (REP), is a 100% subsidiary of the Umbono Group and holds a range of conventional oil exploration and production projects in the northern United States particularly in Michigan, Illinois and Indiana. REP seeks primarily to hold majority interests in operated projects, focusing currently on conventional shallow oil targets. REP operates in a joint venture with a team of established oil finders, based in Traverse City, Michigan. The REP team includes strong technical and corporate skills to identify, evaluate, explore and operate oil projects. In addition, REP owns high-quality seismic equipment and enjoys a joint venture relationship with a seismic survey company to enable its exploration activities. Riverside Petroleum Indiana, LLC (RPI), is a majority-owned subsidiary of the Umbono Group, holding an operating gas project in southern Indiana, centered on Daviess County. The project includes 26 operated producing gas wells and over 200,000 acres of largely undeveloped leasehold with significant oil potential, along with other assets. RPI is managed from Traverse City, Michigan by the Riverside Energy Partners team, with a contract operator team based in Washington, Indiana. RPI is actively conducting seismic exploration and drilling operations on the project.

Umbono owns a 50% interest in Rare Earth International (REI) in a joint venture with a group of UK/Australian exploration company developers. REI holds two advanced rare earth exploration projects in Southern Africa - the Nkombwa and Xiluvo projects which are located in Zambia and Mozambique respectively – an a heavy rare earth element project in Spain.
Umbono holds various exploration rights in Europe, including the Marienberg project in Germany which covers an area of more than 350 square kilometers and contains historical silver, indium and tin deposits that contain undeveloped resources.
