“The best way to empower an individual is giving her a good education”

The IEDT strives to objectively realize its vision and goal in 3 main ways:

1. by educating and developing learners from the community of historically disadvantaged individuals;
2. by raising these deserving South African learners to positions where their excellence will have a significant global impact;
3. by encouraging these learners give back to the IEDT once they have graduated and entered the business world.

The IEDT was formed to address issues including the inequalities in the SA education system where certain learners are not afforded the same opportunities as other learners.
